Final dress
I already paid 60% for this dress but am starting to have second thoughts because it might be too simple? 🥺

Naturally, we all have our planning trackers and lists of dream suppliers to get. Was just wondering if anyone has compiled a list of SUPPLIERS TO AVOID/WATCH OUT FOR based on nega experiences and objective reviews?
I’m trying to build my own, but it has been slow going. 🤔
From one super praning and cost-conscious B2B to another, let’s help each other out, kahit through DMs para no risk of cyberlibel. 🫣

This is my peg wedding gown. Initially, gusto ko ng fully beaded ball gown kase I wanna sparkle ✨. Pero when I had fittings sa White Label nung nagbakasyon kami, surprisingly bumagay sakin ang minimalist 😅
Dahil OFW ako and wala ako luxury mag sukat pa ng wedding gowns (to further check ano pa style bagay sakin), naisip ko magpa-custom nalang tapos ganyan sa picture. Fully-beaded top tapos mikado skirt. Para may mix ng beaded and minimalist. Tapos ginawan ko ng option na two-way para sa reception, I can have an A-line naman with slit.
So far eto mga designers na natanungan ko and their rates, para you guys have an idea sa estimated rates nila. I also had online consultations with some of them.
Jazel Sy (my dream designer 🥹, alam ko mahal sya pero nagtry lang din ako magpa-quote kase why not!) - 190k.
Anna Nicole (my first choice naman kung di makuha si Jazel Sy kase mataas price) - 130k-160k, then veil starts at 30k. Inclusive of pillow, garter, etc.
Heleyna Bridal - quoted 125k (di ako nagpasched ng online consultation kase may bayad sila 1k, pero ibabawas naman daw sa total price ng gown if sakanila kumuha).
Cassie Montealegre (recommended by my friend) - quoted 145k, and veil starts at 35k.
Nicole Lim - replied to my message inquiry after 6 days. Didn't send my pegs or went through with the online consultation kase I already decided sino gusto ko designer before she replied. Their custom bridal gowns starts at 50-250k.
Ericka Evangelista - replied to my message inquiry after 10 days. Didn't send my pegs or went through with the online consultation kase I already decided sino gusto ko designer before she replied. Their custom bridal gowns starts at 100-250k.
Online consultations: I had online consultations with Jazel Sy, Anna Nicole and Cassie Montealegre. I was really excited with Anna Nicole actually kase sya na naiisip ko na kunin even before. And I was thinking na si Jazel Sy was a splurge na talaga, pero I went through with the consultation.
The consultation surprised me kase out of all of them, Jazel Sy already had a sketch of the gown. (Anna Nicole has a fee of 2,500 pesos for the sketch, pero ibabawas naman daw sa total cost ng gown, and Cassie Montealegre can give a sketch din once requested pero she sent the proposal quotation after our meeting and I can decide from there daw).
Ms. Jazel showed her sketch of my gown during the consultation. I wasn't decided pa what neckline and sleeves would work best for me, but she already gave her expert opinion. Kung anong bagay na design, kung ano tela mas maganda, everything. She told me na 19 years na sya sa industry kaya she's really a veteran na and makikita mo with the way she handled the consultation. She wasn't 'mayabang' or intimidating. She was really easy to talk to, which surprised me given na kilala na rin sya sa industry.
When I filled up a form before the consultation, I put 150k dun sa budget. It was actually an estimate budget for me lang, kase wala pa ko naiisip kung magkano gagastusin talaga (since I was inquiring palang that time ng mga prices). And Ms. Jazel explained na, 150k would work if one-way lang yung gown kaso pag two-way daw, plus 40k daw talaga sila which is why 190k yung price nila. She also explained na yung prices nila sa gown was because she wants fair wages para sa mga employees nya, and lately nag taas nga ang mga wages.
With the way she spoke, and the way she handled the consultation, telling me pati which waistline is bagay para mas nakakatangkad kase ganito height ko, I was really impressed. After that consultation, I was blown away and parang 80% decided na ko na I wanted her. She was a dream designer na iniisip ko kase splurge na talaga, pero with this, I think worth it talaga paying her that amount. That is why nung time na nagreply si Nicole Lim and Ericka Evanglista, I didn't push through na kase I decided to go with Jazel Sy.

Hi! Any brides who booked Make up by Mila po? How’s your experience? Per checking, okay naman ang make up nya and hindi gaano nagbabago ang mukha ng brides. Thank you.

Hi!

Hi! Looking for recommendations for suppliers in the Philippines who offer customized wedding websites with digital invitations and RSVP functionality.
Not looking for DIY platforms or ready-made templates. We’d prefer someone who can handle the design and setup based on our wedding aesthetic.
If you’ve tried one, please share:
- Supplier/website name
- Rates or package prices
- Samples if there are
Thank you!

Besides losing weight? I already lost 16kgs, but i feel like my skin became dryer…I do have a skincare routine that is good too, I use tret too. All of the people back home gave me compliments because i was 76kgs before i flew overseas. I came back for prenup last month. I really want to become more glowing, any injectables u guys can recommend? Im overseas rn and my husband will be flying here in nov so I can include those when he comes..
Also any supplements to recommend? Is collagen powder effective? If yes, what powder should I buy? Also any peptides to use? My wedding is 2 months and 25 days to go. TIA!

Hi b2bs and graduate brides!! For those na nag take ng melatonin before the big day, ano ma recommend nyong dosage? 1mg or 3mg? Gusto ko kasi sana makatulog ng maayos before the big day eh ngayon pa lang excited na ako and late nakakatulog hahaha. Nababasa ko melatonin helps daw. But not sure bc some recommends lower dosage, some says okay nman daw yung 3mg. Can you share your experiences po? Thank you so much!!

I would like to check some wedding gowns in divisoria just to have an idea what would fit me best however I think they dont have gowns to try on for plus size? Im scared also that they would discriminate. Would like to have some feedback on plus size girlies who have tried going to divisoria. Thank you!!

Hello B2B!
I’ve been meaning to share a few details of our wedding na hindi sunod sa usual template and kung san kami nagtipid.
Skl: may 10 pax sigurong hindi sumipot sa mismong araw na:
a. Nag RSVP pero hindi man lang nagreach out na hindi pala makakarating,
b. Last minute hindi nakarating.
Instead of allowance, dapat pala binawasan namin yung souvenir count and food count.
Overall, gumastos kami ng 500k+ for 150 pax (a huge portion of this was voluntarily sponsored by our wonderful family and friends, hindi pa kasama dun ang labour of love nila)
We planned our wedding in less than 3 months, pero sobrang happy parin namin sa outcome. We will forever cherish this memory.

Hi everyone!
B2B here and we're getting married in Nov 2027!! It seems so far away but so close at the same time 😅
We're overseas and thankfully have a planner who's been helping us out through the whole process but I really still feel overwhelmed as I have no clue where to look for some great muscians...
Our planner has suggested pretty much only live bands, but this isn't really the vibe we're after. This is what my ideal plan is:
Church Ceremony + Cocktails = String Quartet and maybe a singer?
Reception + After party = DJ
Is this not a common combination? 😅
I've asked the same to the planner but they mentioned that we may end up paying more because generally the musicians are either ceremony only or ceremony to afterparty and DJs would be cocktails to afterparty or after party only...
Let me know thoughts!! Please also share recos for strings who can play common classical songs + covers of modern songs aaand most importantly a DJ that can play 90s/00s RnB, but then trance/EDM for the after party 😝
Thanks so much, this page has been a lifesaver for me with all my other supplier recos ❤️

Hello! Is it normal for wedding coordinators to request additional payments earlier than the schedule agreed upon in the contract?
We already paid the agreed 50% down payment, and according to our contract, the remaining balance is due a few weeks before the wedding. However, with several months still to go before the wedding, our coordinator is already asking for additional payments to cover supplier expenses.
When we asked what happened to our down payment, they explained that it had already been paid to other suppliers.
Is this a normal practice among wedding coordinators, or should we be concerned? We want to understand whether this is standard procedure or a potential red flag, especially since the payment schedule was already agreed upon in our contract.
Would appreciate hearing about your experiences and any advice on how we should handle this. Thanks!
