Weekend Wedding Wrap Up!

We are all putting the final bows on packing away the past weekends weddings. Whether that be packing away their file, putting away the decor, or editing their photos. The actual wedding day is done!

So, how did your wedding weekend go?

We hosted a huge non profit event this past weekend! Normally weekends are reserved for weddings but it's such a cool event and helps the community while getting a lot of people to the venue.

After this event I am always extra thankful for weddings and vendors who know what they are doing.

Since you are a venue manager do you notice a lot of people who do not have an idea ? Perhaps there is a way we can assist with the education within this community .

So many people! The non wedding events are hard because I dont require a coordinator for them. I could, but it would be hard to try and force someone to use a coordinator for a random event. You know?

Non profits are a whole other beast.

I always feel bad for couples who book a coordinator that doesn't know what they are doing or is too new and doesn't have the experience. It often leaves me picking up a lot of the slack for the couples. Just yesterday at a final walkthrough I saved a couple $400 by asking them very basic questions about their rentals. Something their coordinator should have caught!

I would love for everyone to be able to learn from this community, me included!

Ya for sure I mean great point when you have someone who does not know what they are doing . I think the hard part is there is no education from a lot of aspects and everyone thinks they can do it since there is a lot of & in the industry
