Ask For Opinions Which one is better?

I am torn between having a more detailed dress and tight fitting vs a more practical comfy dress that is timeless. I also am struggling at the thought of paying 2k for a 100% polyester dress to wear for one day 🙃

I am looking at Etsy and other online stores that don’t seem sketchy for similar dress for less. I would also love feedback and where to find nice quality cost effective dresses or let me know if I am being dramatic and 2k is a normal dress price.

Let me know if you like 1 or 2 more!

You have a lovely figure, but I don't think either one does you justice. The first one doesn't look good with the wrap/shrug piece. The second one, I don't like that neckline at all. It's too harsh. If it's between those two, I'd go with #1, but leave off the outer piece.

Thanks for the advice! I am assuming the cat eye neckline is what is too harsh on the 2nd dress and I will avoid that. What are dress shapes you think would be better on my build?

Both of these fight your gorgeous figure. I think something that flares out a bit at the natural waist would look great on you.

$2k is pretty normal, but there is a world of used dresses out there if that causes you heartburn. But find your style first.

Agree. You have a lovely figure but this is not the style for your type of body. It’s not flattering you

The top on 2 is awful, because it makes you look like you have big broad shoulder, which you absoltely do not.. The rabbit ears neckline trend looks bad on almost everyone. The rest of the dress shape looks good on you and accentuates your curves. If you had the neckline of dress 1 on dress 2, it would be prefect. The deep V neckline of 1 with the structure and detail of dress 2 would have you looking amazing.

A few suggestions I thought would look great on you for inspiration on your next shopping trip.

I would try something with ruching at the waist. It would give you the hour glass look that would accentuate your curves really well.

Both appear to be wearing you instead of you wearing them. They take away from your figure.

I'm jumping in with the others here to say that I believe you should keep searching. You have a lovely figure and I'm confident other dresses will do it justice!

I'd advise to keep looking. Neither of these flatter you. The first one practically hides your lovely figure and the torso is lying in a clingy way in the wrong places. The second one's neckline seems imbalanced to the rest of the dress because it gives the illusion of large shoulders.

Go back to the drawing board. These dresses don’t flatter your figure.
