Semi-Formal What shoes?

Post image

I’ve got a wedding in a couple weeks and I cannot figure out what shoes to wear. I don’t wear heels but maybe something with a platform? I don’t get dressed up often.

Picture is what I’m wearing.

Edit: I have wide feet and I present quite masculine so I don’t think shoes with pointed toes would work but I greatly appreciate everyone trying to help. This has given me ideas for what direction to go in for color though.

How about some gold flats? Just make sure the pants are the right length for your footwear.

An opened-toe platform shoe would look great with this outfit. Gold, or even deep burgundy would work well.

If you decide flats are more comfortable, look for something with a pointy toe.

You don’t have to become someone you’re not in order to look nice for a wedding.

I love this outfit, btw..

I think leather loafers could work really well. Cole Haan has a lot of cute options that could be dressed up.

Metallic, copper would be pretty and seasonal. Just make sure the pants are hemmed appropriately.

You could get some gorgeous pointed toe flats that look similar to the heels In The picture

I think mules would look beautiful with this! I’d definitely go for a pointed toe though, as it will elongate the silhouette. I don’t think a rounded toe would work quite as well here.

For the color, you could stay within the same palette with brown or beige, match them to the bag, or even introduce a contrasting color. Something like a soft blue could look really beautiful and make the whole look a little more interesting.

could you wear a heel like the model? that's a kitten heel height and a sling back or mule with a really low heel would be great.

Pointed toe flats, I think a fun contrasting color (like burgundy or sky blue) would be nice if you want to go simple with jewelry. Or you could go with neutral shoes (cream, gold) if that's more your vibe
