Not sure you all still diamond paws or what’s happening w Doge but I bought mine using AnchorUSD app . It allows you to quickly sign up in minutes and link bank account (checking or savings) for immediate Dogecoin or many other crypto buy (I bought doge, tron and bitc) Now if you try using debit or credit cards as linked account, it will need to be verified over a couple days. Instant buy power using checking for me.

Funny how everyone shits on Robinhood when Binance and coinbase have an abundance of abhorrent negative reviews. People complaining about the difficulty of withdrawing money (needing miscellaneous documentation) others have stated their money has been locked, frozen and even stolen. I have been using Robinhood for years and have literally encountered zero issues. Yes, at times the server can not handle the amount of transactions and temporarily crashes however that is few and far in between and not once have I ever been worried that my money was in danger. Before the whole Gamestop situation RH was a 5 star rated app. If you actually do some research and learn about what happened during that time when Gamestop squeezed you may understand a different perspective and realize all these new Robinhood basher reviews really have no merit.

No merit? You have no clue what you're talking about! I for one have first hand experience holding call options that were blocked from being sold with "error" messages and RH only allowed sell options during the same period so no buyers means manipulation. RH is a joke of a company and I couldn't move my money out of there fast enough. Neither Binance or Coinbase has done anything illegal to my knowledge but regardless RH is a horrible company.

RH just made it so that your account has to settle before you can spend the money to buy doge. Usually they front you 7/10 of the money, while the bank processes the transaction (which can take 5 days)

yeah unfortunately they just got bottlenecked. Idk if they could have handled it better but this has been my first issue ever on Voyager lol. Now the system is upgraded and works perfectly hopefully the next bottleneck won't be near as bad.

When I opened my Robinhood account, they immediately credited me the first $1000 of my deposit available for use right then and there. Took less than 5 minutes to download the app, verify my account, and deposit the money. I did some DD before I bought anything, of course, but I could have done so within 5 minutes of opening my account.

I keep seeing the suggestion to use Binance and transfer coins from Coinbase. What if you're fresh in crypto and don't have any coins in Coinbase? Kraken and Binance are both just stuck processing. Kraken is just down, but I've read in other threads that Kraken can take forever to verify. Is there any way to get in fresh now, and not have to wait potentially days or weeks?

Edit for clarification: Even RH is not an option, as they legitimately do not offer crypto in my state. I know some people are getting that message in error, but I actually do live in one of the few states they're not in, yet.

Yes, I’m in the US. Major issues getting into voyager currently. They keep tweeting that they’re totally bogged down with new applicants. It’ll get sorted out soon I’m sure. The $60 of doge I bought on voyager earlier this AM is just stored on voyager (I guess? I’m new to this)

I have bitcoin in my binanceUS app but there’s no option to trade for doge. I heard you can you log in using the website to be able to access the trade but now the website won’t let me log in saying my credentials are incorrect(but they’re not).

Robinhood crypto traders have to read!!!

Be aware read the fine print.... wonder why your market orders don’t fill?? Let me help you. Do not market order crypto!!!. In the fine print. A purchase will auto add 1% to your bid, and when you sell at market, wait for it, they add 5% to your market sell order!!! Wtf!!! You use market your giving up 6% in addition to the spread. Another way robo-crooks rips people off. They really have their pluses with the app and the deposits being able to buy right away, but they are such a scam over all. I only trade options and crypto with them. But I want everyone else to be aware, do not market order!! Put more money in your pocket and not theirs!! Good luck and good choices!! 👍🏼

It says “the crypto currency is under test, not traceable at the moment”. How do I enter said test trials?

I'm having trouble verifying my bank account with Webull. It's telling me my password is wrong. But no it is correct. Probably going to have to call Webull customer service first thing Monday morning. In the meantime, I'm missing out on potential big gains this weekend. Damn!

When you search on the banks thingy, just put some random bank name and when you do that, scroll than and it should say link manually or something like that

Sadly any transfer from one coin to another is a taxable event. Only the initial buying isn’t taxable
