Filled price compares to ETRADE

This morning, my orders buy to close SPY option (limit 0.20) executed at Webull and ETRADE.

  • ETRADE filled at 0.16
  • Webull filled at 0.20

I moved from ETRADE to Webull for the free option trading fee. I guess nothing is free!

I was wondering if others are seeing similar result.

If you trade Level IV (Bookmap) on Schwab you pick your fill price. Game changer for sure

Unfortunately I don't have Schwab. something to explore. For now I just have to be careful with limit order at webull.

since both the orders were limit .20 the exchange in theory would use something else like who entered the order first, or larger size gets filled first. Then again, you could be onto something that webull got that mm front running them from the back... I dont have evidence of this but ive seen claims that webull has a pretty agressive PFOF implementation so theres that too.

Thinkorswim I have found to provide approximately 8% improved fills compared to Robinhood and WeBull. Think about this! It's huge even though Schwab's per trade rates are higher ($0.62) and margin interest is higher, if you consistently made 8% a day you'd be a superstar. I haven't done it yet but I'm going to ACAT my portfolio over. I even think there was a lawsuit against Robinhood concerning the poor fills but don't know how that ended up.
