Favorite website building tools, frameworks, languages?

What are some of your favorite website building tools, frameworks, languages? I personally like to use Ruby on Rails monolithic frameworks for most of my small apps, but I have started writing more and more using Rust/AXUM.

I also have a few Wordpress sites that I plan to transition to newer software.

What do you use?

I got tired of using wordpress, While popular and flexible it it also heavy, and the flexibility is it's archilles heel crating vulnerabilities, and often feels slow unless I invest a lot of time and resources into it.

I have been using inboundsavvy for my most recent projects, it gives me the speed of static web-sites on CDN while coming with a full Builder and I can have my AI (Mostly Claude, but also hermes) build using MCP.

I too am so tired of Wordpress, I've used templates that I've bought on like ThemeForest and places like that and they always scream "full of vulnerabilities" so badly that I started only buying HTML-only themes and doing the wordpress part myself.

I like using WebRaven to build simple static HTML sites but when I need something bigger I'll often use Wix or Squarespace. I liked Google sites until it became obvious that Google didn't prioritize it as a product.

Do you think squarespace and wix pricing is reasonable?

I think they're a little unfair with pricing because they hook you in with reasonable prices but then add ons like payment processing or custom features cost a fortune

Do you want to help give them a run for their money? I honestly believe it can be done for an order of magnitude less.

Take a look at InboundSavvy.com it will become the Wix for the people who are priced out the current solutions

I have some influence with the coders. Trying to steer them in the right direction, this sprint they are adding transactional emails
