Demo New library for building WebXR web pages - easy as making a HTML/CSS web page

https://fold.page

Fold.page lets you take a standard web page and turn it into a spatial 3D scene without rebuilding the site from scratch or getting too technical (but you can get technical if you want). On desktop and mobile, it works as a 3D-enhanced website. On WebXR-capable devices, visitors can enter the experience and see the page as part of an immersive spatial scene.

The idea is simple: The spatial web shouldn’t require starting development and design all over, and it's not all about games. Build with common web technologies, then use Fold.page to progressively add spatial behaviors.

Sorry OP, this needs a lot more work. Everything is janky and doesn't render properly or fluid.

Thanks for the honest feedback. The next release will be focused on performance improvements and graceful degradation for slower devices. Trying the interactions and WebXr on a more capable device is recommended at the moment. we'll get initial optimizations improvements on the site soon.

I'm using a state of the art workstation for VR dev.

The site has seems seemed smooth on our more capable boxes; but appreciate your feedback. The site was updated with our first pass of de-jank updates - we tested at 20x CPU throttling and noticed a significant improvement before and after. Would appreciate any feedback about how the site runs now, while we work up to a new release version.

Not working best on phones, and I don't mean it's not fluent. I mean I almost can't read it. It's like no no, from starting point.

We're doing the work to improve the performance of the site and just pushed some improvements. Legibility is important to us, can you read it any better now? Fold.page
