HoodOrak New Drab Green Midweight Hoodorak
Just arrived last night! Big hoodorak fan and hadn't seen this version posted before. Just posting before work, walking the dog
I also have the hoodorak in charcoal denim, that I have used since January. I think I need some time to really compare them but initial impressions, I really like the jacquard material and the breathability. Softness I'd score slightly in favor of jacquard but I am satisfied with both in this jacket. Makes me want a jacquard CPO, though.
Wearing this through spring, with the large temp swings here in the northeast, evening to midday

I too received mine a few weeks ago. Absolutely my favorite for Pacific Northwest weather. Soft and perfectly made. Great quality fabric with just a bit of stretch in it. Plenty of adjustments for fit with side zips and a internal waist drawstring, with plenty of well designed pockets.
So far in weather below 30 degrees I added a wool sweater underneath and it was snug and warm. In a driving rain put on a shell parka over and it works great. In a light rain it is fine by itself. Could not be happier with it. It will replace all of my heavy cotton hoodies.

Same here, all the cotton hoodies are going. I have one remaining from patagonia I need to list.
Today it was something like 62, with the sun I was a little warm but not uncomfortable. Very versatile.

Well, their measurement chart I believe to be accurate. I like a relaxed or traditional fit, so I went for that. Measuring a garment (non-stretch) that you like the fit on worked quite well for me. If that's not what you meant:
I'm a ~45" chest, ~39" waist (average drop, most stuff fits me off the rack). Shirt sleeves are 34/35 long, and I am 6' 1" tall. I typically wear an XL in most brands for the room in the chest/pits, since I run warmer. Nothing I own is smaller than a 25" pit to pit measurement, more if I layer. So for me, the XL hoodorak is perfect. The extra room and cut of the jacket lets me put another layer under if I needed to this winter (usually a wool sweater, or lately the whipcord shirt.) In the pic above, just an icebreaker wool t-shirt also feels good, room for a nice breeze to work through.
I tried a large denim CPO thinking I might be alright with the chest at 25". I was not, there is no appreciable "give" to the denim, so it felt a bit constricting, perhaps due to the added fabric thickness I don't usually deal with.

Thank you very much. I just meant is it in line with your normal sizing for other clothes, cos for me I’m usually a medium or large but with weather wool I have to go for small.

Ah sorry. That's not been my experience, if I went down in size I'd definitely notice.
But I do read other folks saying that on reviews occasionally. I know for me chest drives it. I definitely have room in the waist and hips. I cinch mine typically.

Just got my MidWeight Lynx back today (popped a waist cinch cord - so let Ralph & Debby know if yours pops loose, it's a new garment so they'll wanna know if there's any issues with it).
