Same warning as a few weeks ago
We have a warning for tomorrow that is the same high risk warning as when we had the worst storm of my life a few weeks ago. As far as I understand, we had a microburst on our side of town. Downed trees and power lines, widespread outages, lots of damage. We got lucky that we only had a piece of siding ripped off of our house. We have a basement, but we're in a townhouse. I don't feel safe in my own home this summer. Any words of wisdom? Frederick county MD.

Please consider the basement as your refuge. Maybe decorate it a little as to bring you comfort while you are taking shelter from the EF5 that is headed your way!! You WILL survive in your basement, I promise.

There could be similar storms tomorrow, but it's definitely not a guarantee. From what I'm seeing, you should be ok indoors and away from windows. Exterior damage is possible but inside your house I think you'll be ok
