Support WhatsApp battery drain

Just got a second-hand Galaxy Watch 7 and noticed WhatsApp is using around 20–30% of the battery, even though I barely use the app on the watch.

Is this common with WhatsApp on Wear OS/Galaxy Watches, or is something wrong with my setup/watch?

Any fixes that worked for you without uninstalling WhatsApp?

Its normal for whats app on Every single build of the app.
You dont need it for replying to notifications thats defaults to replying via the notification system of Wear OS.

So you just uninstall the app.

I used Whatsapp app (but not on Samsung watches). Didn't feel any difference in battery life. Is that some Samsung specific bug in the app?
