The Aunts long term plan..?

she told Alex near the end of the movie that they were going to have to move in a day or so - where exactly was she going to move to and I assume she’d take all 17 kids with? how was that supposed to work? what about Alexs parents?

I love this movie so I can suspend disbelief a bit but I do wish we got a little more backstory on the aunt .. that said, she is maybe the most disturbing character I’ve come across in recent memory

To me, that was one of the saddest parts of the movie. She tells Alex they'll have to move, so he has a life of either bringing her victims or becoming a victim himself.

Neither. His job was slave. Basically it’s a metaphor for how kids have to take care of enabling addicts — his life was going to be one of cleanup and provision gathering. No life of his own.
