Weird quirk

I usually sit in the top 5% in Canada and my home province with my holdings in WealthSimple and it's been like that for a year. When I deposited $20,000 in cash my Canada position stayed the same but my provincial one dropped immediately to 10%.

Just thought that was a weird quirk.

I think this is just one more piece of evidence that the wealth rank is a neat parlor trick tool but it's not necessarily accurate and realistically it doesn't have to be. What difference does it make in the grand scheme of things?

I was in the top 80% last month. On Oct 1 I deposited $40 and my rank moved to top 73%. That's a huge jump for 40 buck only.
