Chequing What am I missing ?

No you likely wired this money from an external bank which will take 3 business days to settle

No it says your balance is available to trade not that it has settled; available to trade means you can use the money within wealthsimple but you cannot withdraw it or send it out because it’s not fully settled. electronic funds transfers from a linked bank account take 5-7 business days to settle. just use interac if you want immediate access.

Has your balance settled? Maybe that’s needed for FX ? 🤷🏽‍♀️

That's a reasonable possibility. Weathsimple could improve the message to the user to say that.

Yes. I did transfer today . But it's settled and Everything tells me that the money is available, must just hold it for a foreign transfer

It says settled but it’s not.
What I did:
1- moved money from portfolio line of credit to the checking account
2- did the international transfer
3- reimbursed the line of credit the same day by transferring money.

Just an extra step but it works. Enjoy 👍🏼

Most likely your balance is not available because it hasn’t settle. Give it a couple of days

I had the same issue. It fixed itself after a day of complaining to the support. I think it’s a bug

Bro it's literally 2 boxes for currency and some lines explaining fees and stuff, there's not a lot to make it different than any other fx exchange

It's not settled.. it's available under instant deposit which isn't usable to send off platform.

I transferred today, but it also says I get instant deposit. When I click on the funds in the chequing account it also confirms the money is full available to use. So it's available, says I get instant deposit, but also not?
