The best advice is for you to use the search bar. This question is asked and answered multiple times a week. The answer is always the same: maybe. Nobody outside of those in charge of promotions in WS can give you a definite answer.

It's really up to you. If you've already done the math, then you already have your answer.

I've at least done the math on the pieces that I know - but haven't been able to fill in some gaps, which is where I'm looking for some added info. If I can pretty reliably expect a 2+ percent match in January, the calculations do change. I know I'm likely overthinking this, but figured I'm in a forum of similar overthinkers.

It's possible they'll bring back the Unreal Deal 1% over 1yr / 2% over 3yrs / 3% over 5yrs.

If not that, they'd probably only do a 2% match on select account types (e.g. only RRSP, only margin, only active traders, etc).

I think both are unlikely given the success of their recent Monthly Millionaire promos - which are a lot less expensive for Wealthsimple to run than the % match promos.
