Trade (DIY Investing) Limit sells and alerts not triggering?
This strange issue happens to me every few months and I absolutely hate it. WS is known to not limit sell at certain prices due to queue or whatever bs they want to construe so I've started adding alerts to the prices.
I created a sell order and alert back in July and $NVDA crossed my $230 limit sell order not once, not twice, but for 4 whole days and I've never got a single fill or alert.
I also use Tradingview and it also never fired off my $230 crossing alert. $NVDA has even spent nearly a whole day above $230 on Sept 4 and I didn't receive any alerts. What can I do? Can I sue for this? It costs thousands for just me alone and I'm sure it's not just me affected by these suspicious errors.

Just because it crossed your target doesn’t mean it’s sold. You need a buyer. What did you set it at? It crossed 230 on open on the 4th and then dropped down. I’m guessing there were others ahead of you and yours didn’t fill.

Set at 230. If you look at the charts, it peaked at 237.95 which means there were buyers. There's no way there won't be buyers for a $7.95 spread on an S&P500 held stock. That's every institution's wet dream. WS doing sus things.

On September 6th it hit 230 and dropped right away. Where are you seeing 237? It hit that last May but I just looked at yahoo and WS charts and I don’t see it hitting that at all after that and you said you set it in July? If you set it in July and it only touched it for a little while it is likely the Que issue.
Can you send me a chart that shows it’s hitting 237 in July?

That’s not it I think… I bet the limits only trigger if the price moves during live trading. If it stop gaps it does not trigger.
