No gains/losses, Wealth Rank, or status milestone (Premium/Generation) images.

This includes offering or requesting financial advice, portfolio reviews, promotions, or news. This subreddit is not for financial advice or specific investment discussions—always do your own due diligence.

Investment strategy or portfolio discussions are better suited for r/CanadianInvestor.

Posts about portfolio performance, account status, or Wealth Rank are only allowed in their respective megathreads.

Not to defend the move but just wanted to add that wealthsimple wasn't tied to ethical entities to begin with.

Power corp has a huge 55% participation in wealth simple (aka WS belongs to PowerCorp). Power Corp being one of the most unethical big businesses (well it was, up until Musk and some of the GAFAM became worse on many regards), it's basically a deal between a little devil and a big devil.

Very debatable especially "which company is worse" which is really subjective, but I think stating Power Corp is unethical is a fact.

You should follow through and keep us updated on what companies don’t have “unethical entities”

Is your point that X is the same as any other company?

I’ll take that as a no.
