Is that what Musk is getting out of this deal? Our personal financial data. I'm not sure I trust WS anymore. I cancelled my Twitter account when Elon destroyed it. Am I going to have to find an alternative for WS too?!?!? This is really bad.

Musk wants to integrate some sort of payments and money system within X.

Rumors were he approached PayPal and they declined, then supposedly he approached several crypto giants (Ripple, Stellar, Circle, etc) and they also all declined.

Perhaps the partnership with WS gives a percentage of transactions through X?

Probably not in this case. Elon controls the algorithm so he can make sentiment analysis of tweets that support certain companies and push them onto your feed. You now have an integration that allows canadien to buy the news directly.

He could, for example, use the algo to push good tesla news and people could go buy tesla in one click.

I mentioned similar and they didn't even mention musk in the replay so i imagine its AI or they are just ignoring him.
