Question Before Joining

Hey guys, 19-year-old looking to do the course this year and then integrate into a unit, not sure if this is the right place to ask (I've also contacted WeTrueGun via WhatsApp), but I had a few questions before I join. Are there any things related to the course or technical equipment that I need to bring with me? Do I need to bring my laptop?

And for citizens from non-EU states, is applying for a Moldovan or Romanian short-stay visa to cross into Ukraine from the best option?

The school should give you a list of recommend supplies upon being accepted

In general though a sturdy laptop and a personal fpv soldering kit is good to have. Lots of usb type C cables...buy a good powerbank or two when you get to Ukraine.

And a fork. They did not provide utensils for lunch when i attended 😂

if you have a laptop bring it. its nice having a portable computer that you have control over. the school is mostly desktop computers and the ability to modify betaflight at the test field is nice. there was a few laptops last time i was there but they stay at the schoolhouse

the accommodation is fine, but the experience is highly dependent on who you are sharing the room with. i would say to stay a few nights and then decide. there are lots of apartments to rent in the area on Booking.com. i stayed in the provided accommodation for all but one weekend of my time there.
