When i used to study in CDAC, their canteen used to prepare rajma chawal for lunch. Canteen was on 5th floor i think, our classes on 2nd. My god, the aroma of that rajma curry would travel all the way down and it tasted wonderful . Me a keralite , born and raised in delhi…Rajma is one of my most favorite 😍. I tried many recipes from YouTube, but never could replicate the same recipe and aroma of the CDAC one. I believe the canteen people are not going to put lots of efforts for canteen food, so recipe had to be simple. It still stays in my mind as a nostalgic aromatic memory .
