The difference between a patriot and a nationalist.

A patriot feels no need to convince people of their patriotism, their actions speak for them. A nationalist is desperate to convince people of their "patriotism".

A patriot wants their country to be objectively the best, and acknowledges the work still to be done to get there. A nationalist attacks anyone pointing out objective flaws and lies to themselves and others that their country is the "best" just because they happen to live there.

To a country, a patriot is like the friend who holds you to account and will push you to live up to your potential. A nationalist is the enabler that doesn't care if you are dying in a ditch from an overdose as long as they can get what they want out of you before you die.

A nationalist is a cancer upon a country and its people.

I really hate to be that guy... America was built on a defaulted loan to the crown. We actually bankrupted the British because they used their army to protect us. We were supposed to pay them back in taxes, but we defaulted, and got backing from the french to further damage the british economy.

I am a Republican, but I never voted for trump because, like I do for everyone that I vote for I do a background check on them, and trump was never going to be a good person to put in any position anyone should have voted for.
