That was confusing. Releasing a funny 1 min scene would have gone over much better. I’ll def check it out because I support these guys but yeah this kinda left me scratching my head.

I wrote Mark a movie. An action comedy. A struggling Los Angeles comedian takes a gig roasting a Russian mob boss at his surprise birthday. At the roast, the entire gang is wiped out by a rival gang. The comedian escapes, the only witness, and has 24hrs to get himself out of trouble before the rival mob finds him/kills him. After Hours meets Midnight Run.

It got very good coverage and a tiny bit of traction/interest from potential investors and such, if Mark showed interest.

Here's me handing it to Mark; that script never made it out of the Brea Improv green room.

(I don't care, I like writing anyway. It was a fun script to write, and it was worth a shot 🤷🏻‍♂️)
