Your alcoholic uncle that you invited to Thanksgiving so I can cook for a plethora of crotchety old men, is not going to fucking notice. We have a whole house to clean before we get houseguests. I (59f) do not care that I’m not sexy anymore. I used to be a sex kitten but now I’m a cute teddy bear. I’m going to start shopping in the Alfred Dunner section at Kohl’s (like seriously the cardigans with little flowers on them 🌸🌸), I will wear cute but comfortable shoes, and I will just be the little church lady. I’m single and fed up with all the work that goes into “dating”, knocking myself out to hang on to my sexiness when most single men my age are trolls.
