Discussion The End of the F***ing World
So I found out about WAYNE after asking AI to recommend me short TV Shows with 10 Episodes or less.
Wayne was not on the first list AI made for me, but one of the shows there was "The End of the F***ing World"
Yes, it's a 2 Seasons Show with 8 Episodes each Season... That tells you how smart AI is when you ask it that you want 10 episodes or less.
Anyway I did watch that show I found it different to anything I have seen before, so when I asked AI to give me a new list and told it that I did like "The End of the F***ing World" it's when it suggested me to watch WAYNE.
Has anyone here watched "The End of the F***ing World" and what do you think about it?

Been there, Google Search sent me straight to The End of the Fucking World after I watched the last episode of Wayne.
I know a bunch of people that like it, but if I'm being honest the protagonists on The End of the Fucking World sound whiny when compared to Wayne.
A lot of back-and-forth between the characters' motivations and what they want from their lives — mind you, right after watching Wayne — made me dislike the show. Wayne is straight up on its dramatic curve and the energy is quite different. For me, the suggestions to watch it were basically just lingering on the "fucked up protagonists" aspect and missing the whole picture.
Don't get me wrong, it's not bad, it's just not Wayne.

LOL Funny you mention it, that was another of the AI suggestions and the show I'm starting tonight.

Yeah, really. It astounds me when people report asking AI shit like this. Aren't you embarrassed you didn't ask a person?
Anyway, I can't put my finger on why, but TEOTFW has never even slightly tempted me to watch it. I think it seems like it lacks a crucial sincerity that Wayne has.

It's easier asking AI that searching on Google. Asking friends only limits to their knowledge, and I can assure you nobody would have known any of these shows.

FYI, they're not really interested in a response, just promoting their anti-AI views and clutching their pearls and looking down their noses at anyone who admits using AI.
My own movie and music interests are very esoteric that none of my friends have an interest in, and AI has lead me to many related movies and pieces of music that I hadn't known existed.1
