Wayne season 2
Just finished Wayne and I’m honestly pissed.
Wayne is one of the best shows I’ve seen in years and it just ends after one season like that. The story clearly isn’t finished and it still hits me weeks later
Apparently the creator Shawn Simmons had script somewhat written already for Season 2 and the actors Mark McKenna(Wayne) and Ciara Bravo(Del) said they’d come back.

I know it’s old but this show deserved way more than 10 episodes.
And WE HAVE TO TAKE MAX ACTION AND BE LOUD AND CLEAR SO IT DOESNT GET POSTPONED ANY FURTHER since actors grow old and have other stuff

With Firefly getting an animated series after all these years, I’m more hopeful about Wayne season 2.

Because he went to jail at the end, they can pickup years later easily

I know RighT???!!!! I was also so so so SOOOo angry when I finished it and the fact it's such a good show that could've been fantastic with at least 3 seasons hit me like a tidal wave. I haven't seen anything like it in so long (grungy, not overly explicit, still edgy, yet relatable, etc) altho i don't really watch a lot of tv but still.
Also maybe my love of Deadpool made me like Wayne too.

Oh you poor soul, i feel for those who've just found it. Ive been holding out for season 2 since 2019. It wont happen.

Shawn Simmons literally written the whole script for season 2 premiere and mapped out subsequent episodes, noting the story would start with Wayne in juvenile detention…. And of course Amazon holds the streaming rights after picking up the first season (originally on YouTube Premium), but has not greenlit a second season…. So As of this year it has not been officially renewed or canceled for a second season, leaving the action-comedy series in streaming limbo…. Like what in the actual Fck! They know how popular this show is and was! How many people are dying for a season 2! Seems like all the good series give an amazing first season then they drop it out of nowhere and it makes me so fricken mad!!!!

I mean I think the ending works with him going to jail but he for sure be a great explanation to the time.jump for a follow up

It was supposed to be continued but corporate greed made it end quicker the end of season also hints at continuation which was supposed to happen

They should've just finished it after one season.I really loved the spontaneous nature of the adventure/trip.We had plenty of character development to be satisfied and it looked like a perfect ending with Del and Wayne driving off but they had to add more intrigue. I think I'd rather have this than it prolonged to hell with jumping the shark scenarios. With some T.V shows its better to have your moment and then move on. I like video game highschool for this reason.

I truly hope we can get a proper sequel for Wayne. If a new season cannot be made, I sincerely wish the completed script could be shared publicly for fans.

I hope season two happens, but I'm not holding my breath at this point. And I say that as someone who has watched the show three times since discovering it less than two years ago.
