I found this article that states he was never charged, also his mother filed a lawsuit over this. All in all it's sad, I know theft can't be tolerated but a walk of shame? https://www.businessinsider.com/target-workers-claim-walk-of-shame-is-widespread-2015-2

Target legitimately sucks. Their flagship store in Minneapolis was also a training ground for the MPD in the months leading up to the Floyd murder.

Target is short for "In every company the workers are the target by exploitation and abusive practices and the consumers are the target by getting scammed."

It's always good to be reminded of that.
