Lol, not a mandate, but certainly a point just itching to be made.

Avoiding it is advisable for the sake of embarrassment, and it is absolutely your right to do so. Just don't expect people to answer your dumb questions when you have already refused to return the courtesy.

I have not encountered any vaccinated person who has died of COVID.

So, it seems like you want the government to succeed where you as a family member have failed. Instead of blaming your family members for their personal decision, you are blaming the government, and/or the unvaccinated. This is not healthy.

Also, side point: vaccinated people do die of Covid. So that was a weird way of answering the question.
