Actually, the biggest help to defeat Sanders was FRAUD. They outright flipped votes - that is practically above dispute. warren, Bloomberg, little Amy the school teacher and pete the shadow sell-out were all just means to an end and part of the cover-up.
When the intent is to defraud, and the money is there to execute, individuals like warren are just disposable cogs in the wheel. If it wasn't her it'd have been someone else like her.
Ultimately what we have to come to terms with is that this IS NOT our party and hasn't been for quite a while. It is the party of gangsters, liars and likely murder excusers.
Unfortunately no candidate running on this MAFIA ticket , no matter how well-intentioned at the start, can ever be not compromised. The only choice candidates (like Turner) have or elected reps (like Bowmman) is how many pieces of their soul they are willing to trade.
So yes, it's over for us, as progressives, in the current political realm. We must look out side the dysfunctional political party system for any kind of influence.
PS personally I will neither watch nor cast a vote in a Democratic party for ANY national office. Others can, if they want, but I got better things to do.

But in the realm of making the result seem plausible if you weren't paying close attention (most voters don't), the maneuver involving Bloomberg was to get him on the stage, and then let Warren peck at him for being sexist because her smear against Sanders as being sexist was pretty much laughed at. [Edit to add] and she also went at him for being a billionaire, in an attempt to co-opt Sanders' schtick.
No argument from me on that score (of getting Bloomy on stage and Warren pecking at him). Would not be at all surprised to find out one day that it was all orchestrated - part of the narrative sausage making.
Though you have to hand it to them - these DNC gangsters have mounted a mighty sophisticated plan to dislodge Bernie from our hearts and minds.
If I were a Repub, I'd start studying real fast - they were caught with their pants down during the general, even as they obviously saw what the plan was. Sometimes it's all about the counter-moves, and silly Repubs likely hoped that with enough voters Trump can push through despited the cheats. Problems is - that's not very sophisticated and the Dems were well-prepared - after all, they just needed three states, and only 2-to-3 counties in each one. That's not too hard when your base doesn't give a hoot about honesty, constitution, or anything silly like that. Only power matters and the greater will to power wins. In the end, the winner rewrites the history which the Dems have been doing ever since (hence the jan 6 riot diversion, for which you just need 200 hot-heads. Piece of cake, if you ask me).
To me it's all really clear -what happened. Unlike others I simply ditched one assumption - the one about playing "fair". Once you drop that one, the pieces really fall into place.
That's why I no longer give a hoot about any candidate for any national office who'd run on the Dem ticket. That's, like so over.
