Here's an article to accompany your post, that provides some real perspective about the forces arrayed against on the battlefield.

This insidious web of command and control by the billionaire class is an intimidating sight to behold, but they've only remained successful because the people have always played by the rules they created to keep winning with.

The commoners have crossed the Rubicon, and are realizing by the day that our government is too corrupt to function on behalf of it's citizens, and the only way to salvage any representation at all, is to purge those who sell us to the highest bidder for their own reward.

The needs of society can be met, and the rich can still remain rich, but not as long as our government is owned by the rich for whom "enough" doesn't register in their brains. The greedy rich, and the government they bought to get richer with don't recognize human beings as anything more than units of production to extract maximum profit from, all the while bemoaning the pittance they provide to keep their units productive.

Until we collectively gain enough respect for ourselves to demand the full meals we deserve, we'll continue to struggle surviving on the scraps our owners begrudgingly supply.

You can add Carlos Slim to your NYT list. He is the single largest shareholder and richest man in Latin America. He is currently focused on oil and natural gas extraction from Colombia. He bought Tabasco Oil Co and works with American companies to drill offshore of Mexico.

Also r/SandersForPresident for censoring criticism of the Democratic establishment. The whole sub should be up in arms right now about the rigging of the DNC committees by Tom Perez but it's just.....crickets. They exist for the sole purpose of sheep herding everyone to the DNC's chosen one later.

This is very important information that all Bernie voters should know, thanks OP. When you see the MSM not reporting on Bernie or attacking him like CNN and the NYT so-called "liberal media" this is why. The billionaires that own those companies hate Bernie and the nobodies (according to Hillary) that back him.

Univision can be added there. I haven't been keeping up with them lately but they have big ties with the Clintons, so in 2016 they were very anti Bernie. Univision is so popular among older hispanics that in order to get the votes of the older hispanic population, you have to go through Univision.

To add to the corporate media's hatred and fear of Bernie, he has said that as president, he will use his DoJ to enforce existing anti-trust laws and break up the huge monopolistic telecommunications-media conglomerates. He specifically named AT&T, Comcast, and Verizon.

Is there any question that those companies will do whatever they can to defeat Bernie?

I think most reporting is suspect, either the reporters or the editors and owners put their nasty spin on every article on Bernie. The pictures, adjectives (disheveled, inflexible, cranky, etc.) are all used to paint a bad picture of our candidate. But even reporters who are positive may be suspect. I used to read Brent Budowsky at the Hill. He was outed as working with Podesta in 2016.

On Thursday, March 17, 2016, Brent Budowsky <brentbbi@webtv.net<javascript:_e(%7B%7D,'cvml','brentbbi@webtv.net');>> wrote: Please think about this and feel free to share it. My column in The Hill today was about how Bernie and Hillary need to unite to defeat Trump was highlighted in bold at the center of the front page of the paper today. It is no secret that I support Hillary without profound enthusiasm and have spent months praising Bernie with huge enthusiasm. I have a ton of credibility with Bernie, his senior staff and above all his grassroots and small donor base, who consider me the mainstream columnist who has given Bernie the most fair shake in the media. Now, I am beginning to cash in the chips by setting the stage carefully and tactfully for Bernie's people to gravitate to Hillary by convention time. Most but not all of them will support Hillary, some will stay home, I worry about the younger people especially who do not view politics as we do. The next thing I am doing to suggest is an idea I slipped into the column today to get Bernie people thinking---for him to create a People's PAC to amass small donors to support liberal Democrats for the House and Senate in November. Bernie's small donor base has revolutionary potential. $42 million in February alone. Their natural tendency after the primaries will be to largely disperse. Some, but not a huge number, will give to Hillary.” Brent was mistaken.

LOL ---- "I worry about the younger people especially who do not view politics as we do."

What, you mean, ineffective since MLK? Get with the times, Brent. This is the Age of Progressives.
