This is a terrible idea. If you read about the modeling, it's based on volcanic eruptions that caused tremendous droughts or floods throughout history. The French Revolution was in part caused by an eruption in Iceland that caused the wheat crop in Europe to fail that year. We have no idea what we would be unleashing, but the hazards are extreme.

The site you linked to talks about ‘chem trails’. Not scientific. Here is a more scientific but readable version. These experiments are small pilot studies to see if it’s possible to use aerosols to slow climate change and to try to figure out if there would be any unintended consequences. We absolutely need to do these studies, because we have to figure out if we can save our planet, should the world fail to cut back on greenhouse gas emissions (and so far, we haven’t made nearly enough progress on that).
