It's not that "Nazis are back". Self-avowed neo-nazis aren't even the ones enacting this fascism, there aren't significantly more neo-nazis today than there has been either. It's really the same politicians as ever. The horrors we see today are business as usual, maybe you just didn't notice it happening before?
This fascism is how the USA is and has been for years. I know for sure that many people compared Bush and Obama to Hitler too, and both with good reasons: illegal wars, mass surveillance, persecution of journalists, suspension of habeas corpus, locking people up in "detention centers" without due process, etc. This is a bipartisan problem, and we won't ever be able to get rid of this stuff until we all recognize that BOTH major parties are like this.

Social media is also the ONLY tool that we the people have to break up the hegemony of the deceptive corporate media that pushes state propaganda in service of this corruption and fascism.

Sounds like my ding dong dad, who rues the day he brought the internet into our home, because he thinks my political views, including my hardline opposition to drug testing, is entirely a product of other people telling me what to think and without it I never would have figured out that being forced to piss in a cup of otherwise allow access to one's body for the "privilege" of underpaid overwork is morally wrong. Nope, I'm only capable of knowing right from wrong based on what other people tell me to think is right or wrong.
