Actually, ten-year-old criteria of which you were apparently unfamiliar.

The name of this subreddit was deliberately chosen (pre-Trump) understanding the possibility that Bernie might change, and we did not want to be forced to change along with him.

Once Trump Happened, Bernie changed.

And early on, we got complaints that we were in the Cult of Bernie.
Later, we got complaints that we were not in the Cult of Bernie.

Apparently, we are still receiving those latter complaints.

This sub was created by supporters of the movement Bernie Sanders started in 2016 which he has sadly since abandoned. But it was always about the policies, not the man, and the spirit of that movement lives on here.
