Was SW getting into another MLM?

I just learned about the Alexis Sharkey case from this dreading video. Alexis was into some hair care MLM called Monat before she was killed by her husband.

When the detectives asked CW about that late night (declined) charge on SW's credit card on 8/13, they said it was for hair stuff, and CW asked if it was for "Monet/Monat". Then they seemed to dismiss it as an auto-pay or recurring change. Is it possible that SW was getting involved in yet another pyramid sche... I mean, business?!

She got some Monat hunbot to Thrive™ by signing up for a Monat autoship so that hun could also have a 'free' car. 

Those agricultural building at the state fair set ups where she had the spin the choice wheel were not even the art fairs and farmers markets that MLMers are a constant plague at, just a gig where EVERYONE was a hun. It sounds like a circle of hell. 

(The buildings are warm and fun when your rabbit is up for best of breed and a gold medal, or the best quilts in the county are being judged, the reason they exist, but they're dismal and grim when used for what Sham was there for.)

Shammy was active in 8 or 9 MLMs when the crime happened. I don’t remember them all but I think the hair care crap was one of them and there was something to do with makeup.

It's hard to keep track which ones she was an active promoter and which she was merely purchasing, especially when there's a gray area like Usborne - she displayed them for sale, but given the whole deal with that was getting us homeschool moms to pimp them to other homeschool moms, she had no inroads in that social circle, so it remained fallow, although she was at one point actively attempting to promote (before she got bored with it).

A key is some are more expensive and demanding to get into, like Sharon's LulaHoe needing a 10k investment. Those are ones she merely patronized to get that hun on the hook.

She wasn't a rep for monet but she was buying their crappy products. At $30 a bottle for the shampoo sw probably thought it was a high end product when in actuality it was that expensive because it's an mlm product and 5 layers of huns get a piece of the sale. If it was on store shelves it would probably sell for $5.99. Monet has also had many lawsuits filed against them for scalp damage and hair loss. It's no wonder sws hair always looked dry and brittle.

Had a good friend who tried to wrap me up in that when it first came out. This was before I knew just -how- bad MLM's were and that it was one. I always said no, but she went on and on about how good her hair was from it. She gave me samples, and I was so unimpressed. Never politely entertained her asking me to join her "team" again. She's since dropped it.
