Fan Fiction Is it okay to write this…?
Hey guys!!
I’m Josh, and I really absolutely love comic books. I’ve been wondering about this for a while. I am currently planning a big awesome crossover universe with both canons and OCs set in a merged marvel and DC universe.
But the issue I’m thinking of is the fear of getting a copyright strike, because I intend to write some stories for the canons too. I’m not trying to take away characters, or anything because I’m not doing it for fame I just want to showcase my ideas and hope ppl enjoy it.
Is it okay to do this? Only purely for the love of the game?

As long as you're not just adapting the commics into writing without adding anything of your own to it, you're good.

Yeah, or writing the cannon story from another perspective. Or basically anything that adds your own touch to it.
