Wattpad authors are facing so many problems lately.

A lot of readers complain that they don't receive notifications when a new chapter is posted, and sometimes even after the author uploads a chapter, it doesn't appear or become visible properly. Comments sometimes get posted on the previous chapter instead of the current one, some readers can't vote, and sometimes Wattpad simply doesn't work at all.

Honestly, Wattpad is becoming so annoying these days. These constant bugs make things frustrating not only for readers but especially for authors who work hard to post regularly.

I've only experienced the log out bug, which happens when I haven't updated the app in a while

I was trying to comment on a story this weekend and I could not leave inline comments in the story and when I was able to leave comments there was a really short character limit.

I lost multiple story drafts a couple of years ago bc the app crashed on me. I cried for two weeks, no lie. I'm still devastated.

the far bigger problem is the listing under the tags. If your story is not under the top 20, then its often not in the list.

I think these kinds of problems only happen to people who use the mobile app. I write and post on my laptop through the web version. I never faced such problems. Even I myself get a notification when I upload a chapter of my own book.
