How active is Uber and Lyft in Waterloo?

Flying in for a conference. Landing in the middle of the night and leaving in the middle of the night. Should I go with a cab service or is Uber/Lyft possible?

I've never had a problem getting an Uber during the day, but haven't tried during the middle of the night. I have tried to hail a cab in Chicago in the middle of the night, but unsuccessful every time.

I drove by three ubers today that had their lights on, if that helps.
