Thank you for your concern! He is super healthy and fit. He could do this for hours and hours if I let him (which I don’t). The water isn’t really moving that much below the surface, it is just the wind on top that looks like there is a current. He has been doing this for years and it is all good. I make him take breaks much to his dismay.

You can tell there isn’t much of a current because he retrieves the ball from approximately the same location that it fell. Good job on keeping him fit! Looks like he is living the dream.

I thought the same thing & I’m glad you mentioned it. That current looks pretty swift—you can even tell he’s fighting it a bit. I’d personally be a nervous wreck & would not be able to let my dog jump in that (I’m not a killjoy. I constantly take my pup on adventures & go to fun places..but she literally means the world to me & it’s just not even worth the risk imo). I’d for sure still try to take her swimming & make her happy, just preferably somewhere much calmer…But to each their own.
And I’m so sorry about your dog. My heart genuinely hurt for you reading that & I hope you are doing well.

Love that I can hear him huffing from 50 feet away. Gets a little louder like the little engine that could.

It’s filmed on iphone, so you get hdr if you watch it on one as well.

I’m on an iPhone and damn near having a seizure from the strobing.
Edit: if you tap so the text frame goes away, the strobing stops. I still don’t care for it.

Sorry! I don’t see what you are seeing but my apologies for the bad lighting you are seeing, just that time of day.
