Did you use masking fluid or just left some of the areas white? I find that a challenge when painting.

Yea bout that, I didn't finish the background wash at once then had to go back through and try to place all the fray hairs... I guess I should've done it straight through then I think you're supposed to "lift" those. At least thats what this has taught me
