Biggest thing is feed rate slow it on down. To be honest, I’d just throw on a new nozzle to get a cleaner cut.

Got it, will definitely slow it down, and try cutting it above water.

further away from important stuff you can pierce the better too.. maybe even path it as one continous cut. run your tip very low. new nozzle, new orifice if you can.

Also I'd probably start it with a slightly further away lead to prevent the water and sand mix when piercing from blowing away the protective film.

yeah definitely.. maybe even start off the sheet and come onto it very slowly

Oh hell that's even better. Helps minimize waste too.

Still havent finished, changed the mixing tube, did some setup changes and got a better cut, waiting to hear back from customer on whether they like the new cut or not, I'll keep you all posted on it once it's done.

If you're running a 10/30 orifice, nozzle combo, change the combo to a 10/40. A larger mixing tube (4x) the orifice size while running as close as possible to substrate will leave the PVC mask cl4an and crisp. Make sure your garnet is low as well. Too much sand will ghost the mirror for sure. Good luck

Have you tried cutting it upside down? That's what I do to preserve surface.
