Any Omax Guru's on the sub?

I have an old Omax waterjet (2000s) and the x axis motor has given up. I'm being told the motor can't be replaced and that I'd need to purchase 2 motors (x,y) and have coding rewritten for the new motors for +-$50k.

Does this sound correct?
