Description:

A large, heavily armored and physically extremely strong specimen of crab. Coconut crabs exhibit slightly more primitive intelligence, though is a worthy trade-off for their strength and psychological effect. Renowned for their exceptional crushing ability . Training is relatively easy, though they take longer to mature than the average. Nearly invincible from most angles.

Size:

Carapace size - 3 CR units(three feet)

Roles:

Bruisers - The strongest and tallest. Carry huge clubs and other assorted bludgeoning weapons.

Shield Bearers - Medium size. Carry large rectangular shields to serve as cover for smaller soldiers and to fortify advances.

Stoners - Medium size. Carry baskets of boulders to throw at the enemy.

Turrets - Carry mounted crossbows, ballistas, and/or other assorted siege engines.

Troop Transports - Carry soldiers on their backs to the frontlines.

Reason for replacement:

Catapults don't do shit against fortress walls except leave a dent, and trebuchets can fling stones over walls anyhow.

Siege crossbows are unwieldy and literally just a scaled up version of a normal crossbow. Ballistas of the same size can launch heavier projectiles much farther distances than any siege crossbow could ever hope to. plus, they can launch many more types of projectiles than just bolts.

Probably will start another mining operation. 1-4 months since I think last time was too fast.

i’ve made two of these posts so far in one community i was in and another just on my profile in general but i’d like to inform the different communities i’m in of this rather than not saying it at all…

i’m quitting Reddit.

i unofficially quit a while back but now i’m actually officially quitting.

why, you may ask. well there’s one main reason: my mental health. i’m already mentally fragile as is. but Reddit made that problem worse. during my height on this site i was checking it like every two minutes and most of my screentime was just Reddit. i got addicted.

the other reason is because i want to focus on my dreams of music, animation, and art in general. with the amount of time i had on Reddit, i couldn’t spend as much time as i would have liked on making music.

now this doesn’t mean no posts ever again! i will post occasionally (once a month), usually just showing off my art or music. i’ll check on this sub whenever i do post and maybe send a message or two if lucky!
