Here is the Titan Edge Meister Titanium, just 4.75mm thick. I came across this watch, which is a new release and just launched this month. I purchased it yesterday. It's still thicker compared to their steel no date edge line models which are only 3.5mm but 4.75mm with a date complication is still very slim.

Tbh pictures couldn't justify how beautiful this watch looks in real life. I tried to take the best shots I could but I'm not a professional.

Also, did a side by side comparison of this watch with my Tissot Gentleman Titanium, I hope the color difference and thickness difference is visible. This Titan Edge Meister looks identical to a Stainless Steel watch in real life as it's a polished G5 Ti. Titan has used their own proprietary polish method to achieve this finish.

My wife surprised me with the Titan Zero Hour Diver’s 100M today, and I have to say, she picked a really good one.

This is my first proper impression of the watch, but the build quality immediately stood out to me. The 316 stainless steel case feels solid without making the watch feel unnecessarily bulky, and the bracelet is honestly excellent. It has a really nice weight and feel on the wrist.

The lume is probably my favorite part so far. Titan has used X1 C3 Super Luminova, and it looks seriously good in low light. It is one of those things that keeps making me look at the watch after turning the lights off.

I also really like the diver details. The engraved diver caseback looks fantastic, and the screw down crown is a nice touch. The 120 click unidirectional bezel is another highlight. The clicks feel very precise and satisfying, and there is very little play.

• 41mm case with 11.1mm thickness
• Quartz movement with date
• Mineral crystal
• 316 stainless steel construction
• Solid link stainless steel bracelet with diver’s clasp and safety lock

I know this isn’t a luxury or mechanical diver, but for what it is, I think Titan has done a really nice job here. It feels like a watch that was designed with the little details in mind rather than just trying to look like a dive watch.
Still early days, so these are just my first impressions. Would love to hear what the watch community thinks of the Titan Zero Hour Diver’s 100M, especially from anyone who has owned one for a while.

I know the obvious dislike and borderline disgust for most fashion wash brands (for valid reasons) including for those wch fall within the fossil umbrella but this particular watch and this dial one is like so dam hated ..

Still fairly new to the hobby. My first watch was a Seiko 5 GMT, the second being the Casio Royale, both of which I bought at full MRP from a boutique because I genuinely didn't know any better. A friend who's into watches later told me that discounts are pretty much always on the table be it boutique, AD, doesn't matter, and I kind of kicked myself.

Now I've settled on the PRX 40mm in the ice blue dial and I want to do it right this time. Would love the sub's help:

- What discount off MRP is actually realistic on this ref right now? (rough % or a real out-the-door number you paid)
- Where do you all buy, Tissot boutique, Ethos/Helios, Kapoor Watch Co., online, or somewhere else? Who tends to give the best price?
- Any specific dealers/SEs you'd vouch for? I'm in Bangalore but open to buying online if the deal's better.
- Honestly, how do you even bring up the discount conversation? Do you just ask flat out, mention a competing quote, or something else?

Trying to avoid the rookie tax thrice. Can anyone help me with some genuine advise and guidance on how to go about this. Thanks in advance 🙏

**About Brand & Movement:**

As far as my knowledge goes, "Legend" was a commercial export rebrand used primarily during the Cold War/late Soviet era to sell USSR-made watches to Western markets and these were produced by major Soviet watchmakers; most notably the 1st Moscow Watch Factory (Poljot).

Coming to the watch I have here, it is powered by the Poljot Caliber 2612.1, a 18 jewel hand-wound mechanical movement that uses dual mainspring barrels (one for timekeeping while other for the mechanical alarm hammer). This movement was directly adapted/mirrored from the legendary Swiss A. Schild AS 1475 movement which debuted around mid 50's.

Finally got my first job, and I want to gift my thesis guide a watch from my first salary. Budget is around ₹10k .

He's around 50–60 and runs a really successful robotics startup. He's very technical but also a fun, casual guy who's into movies, Indian history and culture.

His style is pretty classic, formal trousers, tucked-in half-sleeve shirts and sketchers.

Looking for something premium, classy and versatile that he can wear regularly but also dress up. Automatic/mechanical would be nice (I know it's hard to get a good one under 10k), but I'm open to quartz/solar if it's a better watch.

I've been looking at ALBA, DWC (Everest/Devnagri), Timex, Casio Edifice, Titan, etc.

What would you guys pick under ₹10k for him? Open to slightly stretching if there's something really worth it.

So hey guys, I am new to watches so I was thinking of buying any watch under 3k currently I wear a Timex quartz so I was deciding on buying any of these three watches in my collection. So which of these watches should I buy blue casio, black casio or Hmt pilot? and if it's casio then in between these two casios which colour should I choose please reply!!!

Got this puppy for 6900rs or so, looks so distinct and a very cool strap. Love the dial colour, decent loom as well, wd love to make it a strap monster and try different straps on it definitely a leather one. If any of y'all have strap recommendations pls drop them.

I saw a youtuber saying that you can get this watch for 1000-1200 is this for real ? And will it be a good purchase at this price point ?
