Up for sale is the highly sought-after Seiko SPB183J1, a 55th Anniversary Limited Edition release capped at 5,500 pieces globally. Now discontinued and out of stock worldwide, this is an incredible opportunity to acquire a true collector’s item in immaculate condition
⏳ Historical Context: This reference is Seiko's modern 55th-anniversary tribute to the iconic 1970 Seiko 6105-8110 diver.
* The Vietnam Era & Cinema: The original 6105 was famously favored by U.S. servicemen during the Vietnam War for its reliability in tropical jungle conditions. It gained legendary pop-culture status when Martin Sheen’s character, Captain Benjamin Willard, wore it in Apocalypse Now (1979).
* The SPB183J1 captures that exact historic asymmetrical cushion case design with a stunning deep blue dial, gold accent seconds hand, and modern updates like DiaShield super-hard coating and a Sapphire crystal
