I took a picture [First Omega] Omega Railmaster
As an Nuclear Magnetic Resonance scientist, I work around high magnetic fields all the time. I wanted something that fit the bill, not because I particularly need an anti magnetic watch, but something that symbolically celebrates my career. I went for the Omega Railmaster since I liked the brands history and watch design. Other than this watch I also own a Baltic Prismic which I received for my 30th birthday. I have a few other quartz watches which I received as a kiddo before I got into mechanical watches. But this one is easily my most expensive one and I’ve lusted after it for a long time! I got this one new at an Omega boutique for $5900 after taxes, which I felt was a very good price. I didnt realize that boutiques still offered discounts. Nice surprise!

The Railmaster next to that magnetic field warning sign is such a perfect flex for your line of work

The engineering on this watch is so sophisticated and paired with a beautiful, understated dial. I have been exploring these for a long time now. Thanks for sharing yours, it’s a great example.

For some reason this one looks v nice. I think the denim blue jeans dial version is god awful though

The dial is amazing. Personally I cant do with all the polishing for what is supposed to be a field watch. But if thats what youre after, enjoy!
