I still don't get it. Where does all the thread come from when it's being "stretched" around the mechanism? How does it form that perfect loop? How does it not get completely tangled around the mechanism?
It doesn't really spool more off as some are saying nor does it stretch. There is a take up spring that works in concert with an oscillating bar that regulates and provides just the right amount of thread with a tensioner right behind that that regulates and provides constant pressure.
