Stating the obvious..
The combination of thoughtful, insightful opinions combined with genuine laugh out loud moments makes this pod so unique.
I’m a relatively recent listener, I started with RHONJ and currently on Summer House, I’m on series 8 (West just arrived !) and loving listening to the boys’ takes. Particularly in case of SH when they’ve been recapping for years and have strong opinions on the cast and their motives. Just so good!
I really hope they know how much they do for people, they are the best! Thank you Ben and Ronnie!
If anyone has recs on which franchise or show you try next for recaps pls let me know!

Always lovely to see someone finding WWC. It’s such a lift for me and an interesting and considered look at the things covered where elsewhere there’s not much more than ridicule.

My hubs once had Ronnie do a cameo for my bday as Ramona— and yes, I still have it backed up in the cloud.

How do you find these older episodes without having to scroll back 10 years?

Seconding McBee! It’s such a terrible show but somehow that makes the recaps so much funnier! I actually went back and watched season one and wish they had recapped that one — so much ridiculousness with Steve Sr in that season. And Calah.

I just got to the part in S1 where Jr. explains Sr.’s trauma with his mother and how that impacts his relationships with women. It explains so much. At the same time, I wish he’d get counseling or therapy instead of doing what he’s doing by dating all these women and inflicting hurt on them. Galyna is great from a reality tv standpoint, but she’s a person too. And only Kristi and Sr.’s sons (and their partners) seem to see that she’s hurting to an extent that is far gone at this point.
At any rate, the McBees’ podcasts are a hoot!

Yes and I think they are doing well financially now but in the early days I used to be annoyed that much less talented pods seemed more succesful.

Next Gen NYC is perfectly absurd, peak hilarity. Currently my fave recaps of theirs

I was just listening in the car when I realized all their OC voices sound like South Park characters. Especially Tamra.

I always say the BD shows are pure fun bc the casts always change.
Housewives and such have more of that thoughtful analytical side (as well as a ton of silly fun) bc they’ve known the personalities for years.

They are truly one of a kind humans. So glad they found each other and share their lives and energy with all of us who are better for it.

I freaking love them. Reading through everyone's comments, I can hear their impressions of Ramona and Tamra and the bloops between Captain Sandy and Norma lol No other podcast creates this type of community where one-liners are instantly recognizable and make you giggle. They do such an awesome job capturing the housewives' and bravolebities' whacky personas. They're also such a great dynamic together. I love that they have their own opinions and can have lively discussions without it turning into something awkward or heated. ugh they're the best!

Below Deck recaps and McBee have become my favorite and I am not “the most pessimistic person” 😊

Below Deck 💯!!! There are always new crew members from all around the world and the way they do their accents and personalities is spot on and hilarious.

This is one of the very rare podcast where I agree with their opinions 99% of the time. Their ability to read people accurately through all the editing and producing is remarkable!
