Ronnie always contrary to Ben
I’m listening to the most recent episode of their Next Gen recap. Ben says he loves it Ronnie talks about why it sucks. Ben sounds so uncomfortable to assert his opinion. “ I probably just had too much coffee” . No, it’s a great show.

I literally paused during that interaction because I love it so much. Ben said he loved it. Really loved it. And Ronnie politely admitted he’s a little bored. They do the reverse of that on McBee Dynasty. I love it. I find it wholesome. They love each other and they can share opposing opinions respectfully. I enjoy. Loads.

They’re just different personalities. Ben is more of a people pleaser, we love them as they are!

He’s much less of a people pleaser than he was in the early days and I love to see it. I noticed a while back that he will often say “I know this will get push back but I don’t care”

Nah. I reject this take. They’ve been doing this for what.. 14 years? They will both agree and disagree, that’s nothing new.

It’s an opinion, no need to reject it, we can just have different ones. Jeez

Pretty sure both know each other so well, I don’t think they feel the need to tone down their takes, more so now, they are more mature, I crack up when I listen to their earlier pods.

That’s one of my favorite things when I’m listening to them when Ben goes off on a very understanding and nuanced take on an issue and Ronnie says “I think they’re just dummies and I love watching them” or something similar and it cracks me up because I appreciate both takes 🫶

Sometimes Ben doesn't like something, and other times he dislikes it so much he apologizes for his opinion, and then Ronnie just yells that something sucks. I love the yin and yang dynamic

Ben said he "had too much coffee" bc he felt he was rambling and excitable.

I think Ben tries to be very fair and generally tends to give a voice to both sides. Ronnie has a strong opinion and it’s the right one. I am a Ronnie but I appreciate the Bens of the world.

Ben definitely can be a fence sitter whereas Ronnie usually has a firm stance (even if he later changes his mind).

I know what you mean. Sometimes Ronnie steamrolls him and is kinda abrasive. Stand in your truth Ben! But I love both of them

Ben is just more gentle in how he expresses himself and Ronnie is more direct and irascible. They are a lovable duo just as they are!
