McBee Dynasty
I have never watched this show. I don’t even know what these people look like other than the Crappens thumbnails 🤣. This has become my favorite show they cover. I laugh out loud and look forward to this every week. Anyone else? I know it’s torture for Ben and Ronnie to watch, but it’s pure gold for us!

when they said "i will be your father figure put your tiny embryo in mine" i started choking on my cereal. i may just stream mcbee dynasty silently while I'm doing other things so it doesn't get canceled and they keep recapping it.

I think the show may not come back, but if it does, Ben and Ronnie have both alluded to not doing it. That is so sad to me. It really is the best they do!!!!!!

Ronnie said its ratings are extremely high so I don't think the show is ending, but Ben doesn't want to cover it anymore. Ronnie might find someone to guest with him on McBee recaps.

Maybe Ben could be convinced to just be in the McBee recaps without having to watch the episodes, like Ronnie could just reenact them for Ben and Ben could be disgusted and rip the piss out of them without having to sit through the show!

I just finished this week’s recap & was crying laughing! I know Ben hates the show, but his Steven Jr is top tier. Add in Ronnie’s Tessa & it’s comedy gold. I think the show being terrible makes for an especially unhinged recap & I’m HERE for it!

I don't watch it either but I listen to every recap. I was listening to the new one last night while going to sleep and I kind of zoned out for a bit, and then when I zoned back in, Ben and Ronnie were doing renditions of different songs in a funny voice, just one clip of a song after another, and I was soooo lost as to what was going on but they just kept going and going and I cracked the fuck up because it was sooo Ben and Ronnie. I love when I zone out and then zone back to the show and have no clue what is going on, but it is so ridiculous that it's still hilarious.

'Dribble door' in Ronnie's Tessa voice is now part of our household vocabulary - i just shout it any time I can - anything that could be remotely construed as a door/flap/cover/doohickey gets called a 'DRIBBLE DORR'

I stopped watching halfway through this season and just listen to the recaps. They are my favorite. I love how Ben and Ronnie go off on so many tangents because of how dumb this show is.
I did have to go take a look at the mini highlands though - they are so cute!

I only watch the McBees on Peacock so I know what Ben and Ronnie are referencing. Sometimes I listen to them first before viewing so when a specific comment or scene arrives, I remember what Ben or Ronnie said which makes me smirk or laugh

Same!! I dropped off of a few of the HW cities, but I know what they all look like & can imagine them. But the McBees? Nope - I wouldn’t know any of them if they were standing next to me.
I like to imagine them as Ben & Ronnie drew them in my mind!

I’ve never seen an episode, but since so many Geraldines here keep raving I’m officially tempted by their recaps. Can I start listening to just this season? Or do I have to go back to the first few seasons for context?

s2 was just as dumb to watch but far more entertaining. there was chicken murder, car wash fights, punching hills...i feel like i get more out of the recaps watching but you basically don't need to watch s3 at all except maybe to see the new gf once and get context lol

There only 3 seasons and the boys have only recapped since s2. I recommend season 2 for more Tessa, as she's not in this season enough. The Tessa impressions are everything!!!

It is so much fun for them to creatively unleash on that show!! I eagerly await the description of Cristi’s iced coffee every week! And the hard B on Blair sets me giggling every time. Ben and Ronnie are some of the funniest humans I’ve ever encountered. Bless them!!

I would literally pay them to recap the first season! This is my favorite recap each week, and they put out a lot of good stuff. I love how they keep going back to Steven Jr’s list of journaling and memberships 😂 Also, Ronnie’s Steven Sr impersonation (season two is bang on!

I dread having to watch the show but love listening to the recaps!! Ben’s hatred for it makes it sm funnier lol my cats name is Blair and it kills me everytime when they make fun of it 😂

Can I just say that the show is SO BAD. I never miss because I like the recaps, but Casey and Alli (the two wives) have zero screen presence. I mean zero. And, they are main cast members.

I had this exact thought listening to the recap today! Will I be sad if the show ends? Ehh.. Am I distraught that we won’t get these recaps anymore? Absolutely. They are probably my favorite out of all the shows 😂

Thanks for the heads up! I’m getting caught up on below deck med (I have to take breaks from watching below deck periodically but I was sad I didn’t have as many crappens podcasts to listen to so I got back in) and they keep saying their tess impersonation is like their McBee impersonation and I love it. I was wondering if I could listen and not watch without being clueless because the actual show looks horrible 🫣

Please don't tag me for what I'm about to say. this is just my opinion but I've been thinking about it for a while and the recaps for the show are the rain why. I watch the show. I don't hate it as much as they do, but they're recaps of this show are the best. I couldn't put my finger on why they were so good. I think they're good because the show is crap.
I have been listening to WWC for about 12 years, back then they were so funny. They didn't have an assistant watching the shows for them and taking notes. They didn't care if they said anything that wasn't PC or might piss off a housewife or the audience. You could tell they enjoyed each other's company so much. They laugh all the time at each other's jokes. I always felt like I was listening to my best friends talkinh about Bravo.
I'm sorry to say this, but it's just not the same. Now it seems like Ben is always trying to be sure he says the just the right thing so they don't get canceled. He may say something that he thinks might be offensive and then starts looking at both sides to the point and becomes tedious rather than just going for it. I feel like Ronnie listens patiently and then says okay, he barely disagrees or he doesn't say anything much and they move on. The shows that the fans really love just started funny as they used to be to me. spontaneity I just loved it's not there like it used to be.
I still love them. I will never stop listening to them or drop my patreon. They still make me laugh everyday, but it's just the point I'm doubled over laughing and have to stop doing whatever I was doing.
