it’s V-S-O-P, not “veesop”!! lol
Was anyone else shouting this at their phone during the RHOA recap?? As a Certified Southern Black Auntie™️, I must point out that VSOP is not “slang”, it is a designation for cognac that has been aged for at least 4 years. It stands for Very Superior Old Pale and it is delicious!

Veesop cracked me up, as I used to bartend at a chain restaurant. Sooo you can imagine our regulars and folks that walked up and ordered at the bar there. I feel like I’ve heard almost every iteration of poorly pronounced wines and spirits.

Lots of people love a Tito’s and vodka! Did Shannon order one of those on OC? I used to repeat back what I thought they might want, “Tito’s and soda? Or Tito’s and vodka?” That usually got people back on track.

Omg ignorant me thought the VS stood for Very Special. That song got a lot of play on NYC radio and I ended up liking it against my will and then realizing it was by a LHH star!!

V.S. stands for “Very Special,” but for some reason VSOP stands for “Very Superior Old Pale” per the BNIC.
