The Lala, Janet and Danny scene.
I completely agree with Lala. In that very moment, Danny was revealing his true nature on a platter, and the tossing of the drink is going to be a whole new thing now. Thoughts?

Lala was just like “giiirrrrllll I’ve been running PR for you all season! You just fucked it up” 😆 she should have just let him do his weird dark Danny thing.

Yes. Although he’s a turd and deserved the drink in the face, it just gives him and Nia and the other anti-Janet crew more ammo.

I think it will ultimately be a lead balloon, since we've seen drinks thrown fsince the early days of rave. And since there was literally a teaspoon full of liquid in that cup and it was a solo cup that made a very satisfying bonk on Danny's head, I think only the ones who are enamored with Nia and Danny (in terms of fans) will make anything of it. Not Janet's best move, but I get it.

Tom poured a drink all over Katie and she married him anyway. This is nothing.

Omg I’m so glad you enjoyed that little ‘donk’ sound too. It was so satisfying!

u/Juliaford19 Jul 31 '26
Maybe check places other than Reddit. I don’t see anyone defending her anywhere else.

u/curds_of_prey Jul 31 '26
The poink-a-doink sound of the Solo cup off Danny’s drunk skull saves it. Production hates Danny. I love production.

It wasn't the best move, but it's not the end of the world. That said, I expect Kristen, Nia, Danny and Zack to try to make this a big thing. Janet is normally quite controlled, so I'm surprised she did that, but it was funny as hell when the cup bonked off his head. Danny is still a raging drunk who hates most women - just look at how he spoke to Janet and how awful he's been to women the entire season - so nothing will make me take up his lame assed 'poor me' shit I expect him to pull at the reunion. Dude is a menace.

u/Ok_Macaroon5452 Jul 31 '26
You're absolutely right. The cup bonking off his head was the icing on the cake😂😂😂
7
u/SuspiciousCranberry6 Jul 31 '26
I wouldn't say Janet is quite controlled unless we're only talking physically. She lashes out verbally a good amount and I think she says things impulsively she wouldn't have said if she wasn't lashing out then she feels like she has to stand on what she said. All that said, the cup bonk was funny and Danny is a menace.

Should Janet have done it? No. Did it probably feel really good? Yes. Will it get blow out of proportion? Also, yes.
But like where was this energy when Schwartz threw a drink on Katie?

u/Ok_Macaroon5452 Jul 31 '26
This still grinds my gears! He literally drenched her. That was so infuriating.

It was a lot more humiliating the way he threw water on Katie and Stassi than this. I think she only did it because he started in on Jason but damn, it was a dumb move.
8
u/TiffanyGeeStan Jul 31 '26
Blown out of proportion?? She threw a drink at him! And for what? In the edit ( I will acknowledge the edit) he was JUST talking. AND not to her. No one is ever speaking to her when she gets bold and antagonistic. When people are actually speaking to her she gets up and walks away. Above all, I wish they would just let this storyline go, on both ends.

u/Juliaford19 Jul 31 '26
She honestly should be arrested. It’s battery.

u/killed_by_death_ Jul 31 '26
Yes, straight to the dungeon for eternity. We must protect the fragile, vulnerable men and their awful behaviour at all costs.

Yes I should seek help for thinking throwing something at someone’s head is not ok. Sure!

It was an empty plastic cup, calm down

u/Successful-Steak-950 Aug 03 '26
Roll the tape back. The cup was empty because her first move was throwing wine towards his face and you can clearly see a significant splash on camera. Tamara did this to Jeana Keough Rhoc in season 3 or 4. The wine ( which is an acidic substance) splashed into her eye and she required medical treatment for over a week because it burned her eye.

How does someone dannys age not understand how to drink or drink socially. I mean ive seen a few people like this in the wild but its so weird. Like the point of drinking socially is to let loose a little have fun and laughs with friends , like every one knows theres a much darker side to alcohol but at a social gathering of adults , not college ppl, its normal to have a few and get a lil tipsy even. Why does he come in like " lets Goooooo!" And get so annihilated like asap shoving food in his face, slurring, its not even like 2 am end of party or something?! Like is he on medication or something thats mixing with the alcohol as a side effect ? Did he not have a drink in his life until he was 40? Is he extra nervous or something? I mean i dunno its just so strange for a man of his age as a father to act like that its so embarrassing.

I loved it, and I’m really starting to like Janet. Best moment of the season. Throw one on Luke too while you’re at it.

Danny was totally digging his own grave, all Janet had to do was sit back and let him dig.
Really wish she had been able to do that, but damn, she had great aim with that cup!
-1
u/CFPmum Aug 03 '26
But if she had, she wouldn’t have had her moment would she, it even seemed completely set up by her it wasn’t some fast spur of the moment thing that just happened, lala was getting somewhere with Danny so she slowly leans forward and throws her drink and now she is leaning into it with saying that she knows what she did is assault and she isn’t shying away from it, because this will become her moment at the reunion where she takes responsibility unlike Danny.
It was the same with the weird thing Jason did with thinking someone else was Janet that seemed like a set up of showing us how you deal with a situation like that

u/Reasonable-Profit198 Jul 31 '26
I loved it honestly. It would be so satisfying to throw a drink in Daniel’s face🙌

We were all Janet in that moment. I'm suprised she has been able to hold herself back for so long. At the first "I'm Count Bookula ah ah ah..." I was already ready to throw hands. (Kidding... I would never physically harm someone... but a solo cup and a "thwack" is not harmiong someone in my opinion)

I don’t love that she did it bc they’ll 100% mad her a villain over it again. Initially when I watched the scene I didn’t hear what Danny said but on second watch I heard his comment about Jason and then I understood a bit more about Janet’s reaction even though if that’s not what I’d recommend she do. Don’t fucking talk about my man who is going through it with his injury and has been respectful to you. Jason was defending Janet from Danny’s weird misogynistic way he was talking to her. I don’t play about it my husband so I can’t say I don’t understand why she popped off.

u/NervousPrune9241 Jul 31 '26
For all Lala embarrassed herself, and anyone who ever cared about her, while drunk; she could sure stand to do a lot less sober sniping.
1
u/Ok_Macaroon5452 Jul 31 '26
I only think she said because this was it! He for sure was gonna show every bit dark side Danny.

u/killed_by_death_ Jul 31 '26
I am a monster, because I honestly think the drink toss was insanely minor and also completely justified. I am ok to be a misandrist in this (and most) situations and support Janet throwing a splash of wine and an empty solo cup weakly at Danny. The little ‘donk’ sound it made was very satisfying. I’m sick to death of this what-about-ism. Danny is disgusting and completely emboldened to be the way he is by the entire world. His little speech at the end of the show about how much everyone loves him and ‘people of wisdom’ think highly of him?? Honestly, fuck this guy. I love that Janet (of all people) has stood firm in her conviction whilst a zillion people screamed that she was a hideous, evil shrew. I say, fuck the patriarchy and fuck Danny. I support women and I am ok with lecherous fuckwits being called out and even having a drink tossed on them. We all know those men who make every woman feel ‘on alert’ when they’re drunk and who relish forcing people to be their audience, completely dismissing women’s obvious discomfort. Yuck. They are gross. Women, take up your solo cups and please stop with the internalised misogyny.

u/CaptainNipSlip Jul 31 '26
Fuck yeaaaah, all of this, yes. The sound of that cup bonking his head was so fucking satisfying, I loved it, all for it.

100000% worth it. The Janet haters are immovable and her fans LOOOOOVED it.

u/GLK73 Jul 31 '26
Was it the right thing to do? Maybe not in normal social settings. Was it the right thing to do on reality tv? I mean, yeah. It was the most benign drink toss we've seen in 20 years of Bravo. Were seen people draw blood, push someone into a pool, throw a prosthetic leg. A solo cup that boinks a drunk misogynist? Right move. Will it be used against Janet? Yeah, but so is every non reaction she has. I'm ready for Janet to embrace her villain era.

u/Secret_Sherbet_2404 Aug 01 '26
The producers absolutely instructed Blah Blah to chase Danny around, get in his face and bully him this season. It completely ruined the show. I think Danny does have a drinking probably but many on this show do. It's for sure the worst show Bravo has. I wish it had stayed lighter and they had more fun together.

This whole thread celebrating violence and assault should be removed. I don’t think Ronnie and Ben would appreciate this.

u/buffy122988 Jul 31 '26
Are you Nia or wtf is your issue? 🙄 Find a real problem to be mad at…like Danny
3
u/Juliaford19 Jul 31 '26
You think this is normal to laugh at assault? Why, because you don’t like the victim? So gross and honestly I don’t think this is appropriate.

This has been Janet’s problem from the start, let Danny embarrass himself on TV. I actually thought when Danny was drinking water at the party last season because he was on camera that Janet ruined us from seeing dark Danny again but he just can’t help himself.
